Our purpose of helping people get the most out of life has always motivated us to do what we do. Permeating this culture throughout Prudential, we would like to share with you our initiatives to give back to the communities in the final quarter of 2022.
We launched PRUKasih Aman, an inclusive and affordable protection plan that provides a safety net for families in difficult times. Under the new PRUKasih Aman protection plan, more families can be safeguarded while receiving better benefits up to total coverage of up to RM18,000, which includes daily hospitalisation allowance, funeral expenses and death benefit. In the event of unfortunate death due to accident, an additional death payout will be payable. With this more Malaysian families from underserved communities can achieve peace of mind and a secure future, in line of achieving our vision of providing a safety net to the underserved communities who are financially vulnerable to income disruptions.
Our PRUVolunteers helped change the worlds of the Orang Asli communities in Sungai Kelubi, Selangor. Our collaboration with Epic Homes seeks to build and rebuild the houses of the Orang Asli community that are heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. With our partner Epic Homes, we were able to train the Orang Asli communities on basic building skills so that they could start building infrastructure for their communities. Over the two weekends that saw rain, our PRUVolunteers were able to assist in completing the infrastructure which includes homes for eleven families.
The PRUKasih Taylors Entrepreneurship Programme is a collaboration with Taylor's Community to provide business knowledge and emotional readiness so that participants can apply this in their businesses to increase their income. We celebrated the graduates of programme alongside their family members present to see them receive their certification. We also took the time to recognise the top achievers in the cohort, marking an end to the year long programme for our participants.
Through our partners Junior Achievement Malaysia and Yayasan Generasi Gemilang, we have trained 446 teachers from 399 schools to conduct Cha-Ching Curriculum in their respective schools and up to date we have 16,404 students fully completed the programme in 2022. To wrap up 2022, we conducted the fourth Cha-Ching Educators Conference for all educators who supported the programme in Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. The conference consisted of workshops and sharing sessions with our educators to inspire them to reimagine bringing fun into the classroom.
Since the start of the PRUKasih programme, we have worked closely with numerous partners to build financial resilience amongst the underserved community. To thank them for their contributions, we recently hosted a PRUKasih Aman Celebration with 6 partner NGOs and 21 Community Volunteers from 8 communities. Our partner NGOs present include Beautiful Gate Foundation, HOPE Worldwide Malaysia, House of Hope, Love Cheras, Pusat Bantuan Sentul and Sahabat Ammar, Kuching. Joining us in the event, we have the Chairman of Prudence Foundation and Group Executive Committee member Jolene Chen and our Chief Marketing and Partnerships Distribution Officer Eric Wong in attendance to celebrate with our fellow PRUKasih Aman partners and the project team.
To conclude the final quarter of the year, we were awarded Overall Financial Institution with the Most Volunteers (non-banking) at the FINCO Volunteerism Awards 2022. We are honoured to have our volunteer works recognised as our partnership with FINCO stems from our drive and initiative to improve the financial literacy among Malaysians especially children.
As the year ends, we would like to extend our gratitude to all our volunteers and partners for making 2022 an impactful one for the communities around us. We look forward to continue making a difference in the lives of the communities in 2023!
