Health And Wellness Fun At The Prudential Healthy Life Expo

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 May 2017 – In conjunction with the Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon 2017, Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) held the Prudential Healthy Life Expo at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 18 to 20 May. The public were invited to join the exciting and energypacked activities during the three-day expo aimed at promoting health and wellness.

Fiona Liao, Chief Brand Officer of PAMB said, “It was a wonderful opportunity for Prudential to contribute to the health and wellness of the community through this expo. The activities were organised in a way where Malaysians of all ages could enjoy, whilst providing an educational element. We hope that everyone enjoyed and learned something valuable from their fun experiences at the expo, and will be able to live better and healthier lives.”

The expo featured five zones, namely the Safety, Sports, Wellness, Kids and Engagement zones, where visitors were engaged in fun and interactive activities. Visitors were able to pick up useful tips on hygiene, such as proper hand-washing, household water treatment, safe storage, and CPR skills at the Safety zone. They also participated in the cycling simulation challenge at the Sports zone, where they stood a chance to win a free entry to Prudential RideLondon 2018 – Surrey 100 with a return economy class ticket and two nights accommodation in Central London.

At the Wellness Zone, visitors had access to health beverages and products whilst also receiving free health checks such as the Body Mass Index (BMI) test, blood pressure monitoring and eye check. Kids were also not left behind as they took part in the Kids Zone, where fun activities were conducted to teach the younger ones the importance of health and wellness.

Visitors who attended the expo and participated in the activities also took home a complimentary Sport Mobile Pocket Bag.
