About Duit Right

Duit Right is a financial literacy program uniquely designed for youth, introducing four money management concepts: Earn, Save, Spend and Donate.

Developed by Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) through Prudence Foundation and Yayasan Generasi Gemilang, Duit Right aims to empower youth to make positive financial decisions by helping them understand good money management habits.

Duit Right (DR) was first developed in 2014 as a practical and engaging experiential learning program. Conducted as a workshop with the help of a trainer and 10 volunteer facilitators, students will be empowered to make better informed financial decisions through this 2 hour program.

In 2018, Duit Right has evolved towards program expansion and was aimed at being a program that could be conducted by teachers of various school clubs. Thus, Duit Right Plus (DRP) was born.

Duit Right Plus is a replicable co-curricular club based program for teachers to conduct in their respective schools. It was created to effectively reach more students with introducing 7 fundamental money management concepts that are aligned with Bank Negara’s 6 Financial Literacy pillars. It aims to instill fundamental financial skills by helping students understand and apply good money management habits.

DRP also features Kawenga, a one-of-a-kind board game created to help students learn and apply the 7 money management concepts in a fun and experiential way.
